Trenchless Water Line Services

Trenchless water line installation makes it easy to run a new water line without an unsightly mess or open ditch. Trenchless water lines are an excellent choice for homeowners who need to replace piping without ruining landscapes, sidewalks and driveways.

We use a machine that has a steel spike and installs a new water line underground below the freeze line in your yard with far less damage to your property than traditional methods. The traditional way is to dig about a one foot wide by 14" to 16" deep trench. This open ditch destroys your grass and leaves a muddy mess where you have to replant the grass.

Often times when the grass grows back it will look different in the place where the ditch was than the rest of your yard. With trenchless water line replacement it is difficult to see where your new water line is even on the same day of installation. In as little as two weeks your yard will be fully recovered with no sign of having a new water line installed.

Trenchless installation is by far the easiest way to get a new quality water line that will give you trouble free service for years to come.

Trenchless Water Line Replacement Process

We will always try to go around driveways or sidewalks and under most circumstances we can. When it is required to work around a driveway or sidewalk we will tunnel under the obstruction by digging a small hole where the tunneling begins and ends. Unlike the traditional method of cutting a one foot wide slab out of your driveway or sidewalk and then having to re-pour the concrete back, trenchless water line replacement leaves your yard with minimal damage and a quick recovery.

Some plumbers will dig up the water line about 2' outside the house and tie on to the old and existing failing pipe because they do not want to go through the trouble of going under your house. We run a new line all the way from the city owned meter to your crawlspace door opening and install a new ball valve. That way if you ever need to turn the water off there is a convenient valve within a comfortable reach of the crawlspace door.

We also install a pressure reducing valve and expansion tank where needed to bring your house to optimum working order. We to try to solve future problems before they happen and to bring your home up to current code for your peace of mind. If you have a home inspection in the future, your new water line system will not give you any problems.

When a new water line is installed sometimes it picks up dirt during installation witch can damage the fixtures in your home and bring unwanted dirt into the water supply. Before we tie the pipe into your water system we always flush the new pipe several times to ensure all the dirty water goes outside your house on the ground and not inside. We tie the new line into your home only when we are sure all the dirt is gone. When we do any plumbing work to your home it's done exactly the way we would do it if our loved ones were going be living there.
